He has done some pre-emptive animation with sound effects made by ourselves to get a feel for how it would look.
I still need to fully develop the characters and see how they would look on a larger scale, as well as tinkering with facial or body movement to go with the sound effects.
This was an initial idea for the dogs playing cards sting, but got the timing wrong as well as the characters so I opted this out for a concept page.
This is the more refined version, basically the dogs all sit playing cards, smoking drinking, they get hungry order pizza, and what they get is a fat cat crashing their table and hocking up a furball with the E4 logo on it.
Here a dog is casually making his way down a street, has a bark at a cat which retaliates by screeching incoherent nonsense at the dog: E4 terminology.
This one is the one currently in production/post production.
Basically its a usual suspects style line up except this one is a result of E4. Changes to be made include using side profiles as opposed to their full faces.
This one is a prank played on an unsuspecting victim of clown related crime. Jack in the convertible.
Boom.
We have also come to a conclusion that we could easily package the brief and present it in a professional promotional context, also giving us a better chance to be seen in a industry standard work environment.
The overarching visual element to tie all of these together will be the cat. The unsung hero of ages and a personal friend of mine who visits me at 5am every morning.
