So after some measly sketches then trying to generate some decent work with my new tablet, it has gone to hell. So I decided just to keep drawing freehand until something came out of it that I can use in terms of an applicable style.
I do think it was a valuable exercise though, as a developing illustrator it gave me reason to actually fully pen in what I am doing for ease of reproduction and not spending fruitless hours poring over minor details.
