After the first week of exploring, Lara should be more attuned to her environment and be less erratic in her decision making. She will be thinking more clearly and logically to get off the island and ensure her survival. She would of gathered some localised artifacts/items to help generalise her location and try to help whoever is looking for her.
She would'nt send survival items since she would need them in order to survive.
She would send samples of soil, minerals, blood or even a creature that could be semi preserved and also help with pinpointing her location.
Since the ways of preserving said items/samples could be hard given limited supplies, she could send them in a few recepticles due to the footage seen on youtube.
Glass bottles, wooden crates and cloth are noticable, which makes them the primary materials that would be considered for deliverables.
So it can be rationalised that she would send a wooden crate full of items relative to the land she is in, supported by floatation devices noted at the end of the gameplay video.
There are only a few symbolic items that can be used for initial visuals, since the gameplay is limited currently.
Candles, satanic rituals, some illusive symbols on altars, statues and mysterious doors are all on show.
So for this concept, it could entail the following physical items needed for the kit:
- Wooden crate - potential for lazer etching on lid.
- Floatation device - sourced from junk shop or ebay for cheap... hopefully
- Metalcraft/blacksmithing - my friend Freitag is one by trade
- Bottles, glass - for storing samples or messages
- trinket of Lara's to prove it is her - necklace or lock of hair
- Filling for box - clothing, cloth or even just some shredded ephemera.
Still need to decide if its for a press release or a promo for the game itself... and also if it is big budget or small budget.
